Marty O’Reilly

Marty O’Reilly is a San Francisco Bay area folk-soul-blues guitarist, vocalist and songwriter who draws his audience into his music with rich lyrical imagery, a raw and captivating voice, and powerfully cathartic performances. As a guitar player, Marty is fearless and lythe. He can attack an electric guitar with abandon or an acoustic with the softest of touches and vice versa. His guitar work can sometimes scream into the ether, employing blistering slide licks or fire off a lead with focused but soaring improvisation. But he can also paint a gentle context for the contemplative love song with equally subdued skill. Marty and his band have toured the US, Canada, U.K. and Europe over the release of three full-length albums - most recently Signal Fires (released in 2021). At the moment, you’ll find Marty in the studio with his Kremona Solea and R30E guitars recording his first solo album. “As a musician that moves between genres quite frequently, I need an instrument that is able to move with me and perform a diverse set of roles - something warm enough to provide the right foundation while I’m singing, but also with the power and ability to cut through the mix of a full band when I’m soloing. The Solea and R30E check all the boxes for me, along with superior craftsmanship, and the fact that they are manufactured by a company with integrity that believes in supporting artists like me.” - Marty O’Reilly
