Vadim Kolpakov

The Kolpakov family of guitarists is driven by legendary Russian-Romani (Gypsy) guitarist and songwriter Alexander-Sasha Kolpakov, and features his nephew Vadim Kolpakov, one of the most renowned seven-string Romani guitarists in the world, and Sasha Kolpakov Jr. who is the youngest guitar virtuoso of the artistic dynasty. Having reached global acclaim as a key player in Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” tour, Vadim is currently working with his U.S.-based ensembles Via Romen and VS Guitar Duo, using the Kremona F65CW-7 in his performances throughout North America and overseas.
