Art and college cultures converge in the idyllic little city of Ashland, Oregon. Cripple Creek Music Co. has remained at the center, providing eclectic, high quality instruments from all over the world for nearly four decades. Owner Garin Bakel may owe his longevity to the selection, expert guidance and dependable repairs the shop has come to be known for, though it doesn’t hurt a bit that it feels like a destination the moment you step through the door. Heart and senses awaken upon entering the warm, woody and utterly friendly confines of Cripple Creek Music. Garin and his crew began offering Kremona instruments in 2006. Now, Cripple Creek exhibits one of the most comprehensive selections of Kremona guitars and viols in the country.
During their Kremona Days event, visitors to Cripple Creek Music may enter to win either a Kremona 90th Anniversary model OR a $1500 gift certificate, directly from the store. The lucky winner will be announced December 31st. RC Strings and logo backpacks will be given away to those purchasing Kremona guitars during the event week while microfiber polish cloths are complimentary just for demoing.
