Kremona Days at Nicholson Music Co.

Monday 27, 2014

As Kremona celebrates  90 years, we look back at the beginning of our service to musicians on the North American continent. That adventure began in 2004 when Glen ‘Nick’ Nicholson—himself a builder and restorer of fine instruments-- selected from the first guitars brought to America by the family that owns the Kremona factory, making Nicholson Music Co. the first authorized Kremona dealer in the U.S.

Since 1985 Nicholson Music Co. has offered high quality instruments, expert repairs and music education. Nick, his wife Nora and a friendly staff continue to support the community with sage advice in a wholesome environment. Their expert technicians—including banjo builder Paul Reimel-- handle everything from setups and electronic work to full restorations, with the added responsibility of making sure every instrument for sale in the store is set up to professional standards.  The educational department at Nicholson has grown to a dozen instructors for guitar and orchestral instruments. Son Erich opened Nicholson’s MusiCafe right next door, bringing regional musicians to the stage while expanding the music retail experience with craft coffee, local art and comfortable indoor/outdoor seating.

Drop by Nicholson Music Co. during their Kremona Days event, where our entire line of handcrafted guitars and ukuleles is on display. Microfiber polish cloths will be complimentary for customers dropping by try Kremona instruments. RC Strings and logo backpacks will be given away to those taking home Kremona guitars during the event week. We greatly appreciate the invaluable input and support we have received from Nick, Nora, Erich and the fine staff at Nicholson Music Co. over the years. We are proud to be a major part of their mix.
