Kremona Days at Watermelon Music
Upon ordering a hand carved upright bass and a bevy of guitars in spring of 2005, Watermelon music became one of the first shops in America to carry Kremona instruments. Business owners Jeff Simons and Ron Cowden are energetic, forward-thinking purveyors with a pulse on what folks need in an independent music store and how to present it. In 1996 they opened Watermelon Music in Davis, California, strategically located between San Francisco and Sacramento. Featuring a model retail layout, repairs, lessons and workshops for orchestral, combo and world music instruments, Watermelon complements Davis’ potent music/arts scene and has become a destination for musicians all over Northern California. Watermelon has recently opened a satellite location in Woodland, CA, again showcasing the model music retail experience. We’re proud and excited to be part of the Watermelon Music mix.
During their Kremona Days event, Watermelon Music is offering a FREE Rosa Morena flamenco model to the lucky winner of a special raffle. Customers may enter to win during Watermelon’s Kremona Days celebration. Microfiber polish cloths will be complimentary for customers dropping by try Kremona guitars. RC Strings and logo backpacks will be given away to those taking home Kremona guitars during the event week.
