Royal Classics’ Carlos Bonell is ‘Here There and Everywhere’

 

Guitarist Carlos Bonell –as famous for his Rodrigo interpretations as he is for working with Sir Paul McCartney—is featured on the March 2012 cover of Acoustic Guitar magazine.

 

In an extensive interview conducted by Guy Traviss, Mr. Bonell talks about his life in music, and how and why he arranged the Beatles’ music for solo guitar. His latest album is entitled ‘Magical Mystery Guitar Tour’ and contains 15 interpretations of various Beatles classics.

 

The issue also includes the first in a series of articles to be written by Bonell.

 

Mr. Bonell, whose previous album was a critically acclaimed collection of Queen covers arranged for solo guitar and orchestra, has also appeared on the cover of The New Yorker.
